Rally, BBQ, and Tech session

Mike Hamza and Jim have set a very special Sunday morning for us.
See a real “speedster” being rebuilt by Jim Karaba.

Location: begin at the Henderson I-10 exit (Exit 115)- 10:00 A.M- Landry’s Restaurant

We will have a rally followed by a Barbeque, followed by a short tech session. We will meet at the Landry's Restaurant parking lot at the Henderson Exit, (exit 115) at 10;00 AM Sunday morning. We will have a drive in the country and end at Jim Karaba's shop at 516 Ole Colony Drive. in Scott (Lafayette) 70506. Jim is completely restoring a 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster owned by fellow Whiskey Bay member Leonard Schrantz. He is also working on a 1957 Austin Healy 100-6, and a 1973 Porsche 914. He'll show us what's required to do a some sheet metal replacement and "hammer welding". You will be amazed at the body work being done.
